The short version: the Android app has no internet permission, accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Your creative work and progress remain on your device. This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
1. Who we are
TEEN EDIT LTD is the company responsible for 3-Minute Creative and this website. For UK data protection law, we are the controller of personal information we receive directly, such as an email you send us.
TEEN EDIT LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 17160879. Our registered office is Briff Farm, Briff Lane, Bucklebury, Reading, England, RG7 6SS.
2. The 3-Minute Creative Android app
Information we do not collect
The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data or device data with TEEN EDIT LTD. It has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, or internet permission.
Information kept on your device
Your preferences, reminder time, favourite exercises, creative answers, drawings, reflections, and progress history are stored locally in the app's private Android storage. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for this app content.
Notifications
If you enable a daily reminder, the app requests notification permission and schedules the reminder locally. Permission is optional and can be withdrawn in Android Settings. We do not receive the reminder time you select.
User-initiated sharing
“Export progress” and “Share app” open Android's system share sheet. Information leaves the app only when you choose a destination. That destination's own privacy policy then applies.
3. This website
The website is a static information site. It does not contain account registration, a contact form, advertising, behavioural analytics, pixels, or social-media tracking. The colour-theme preference is saved in your browser's local storage and is not sent to us.
Like most hosted websites, the infrastructure provider used to deliver and secure the site may process limited technical request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, time, and security events. This processing is necessary to deliver and protect the service. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
Links to Google Play and other external sites take you to services run by other organisations. Their privacy practices apply after you follow those links.
4. When you contact us
If you email, telephone, or write to us, we may receive your name, contact details, the content of your message, and information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, provide support, protect our legal interests, and manage our business relationship.
Our usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and operating our business. Where your message concerns a contract or a step you ask us to take before entering one, that contractual basis may apply. We may also process information to meet a legal obligation.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or private creative work unless it is necessary for your request.
5. When information may be shared
We do not sell personal information. Information received directly may be processed by service providers that help us operate, such as email, telecommunications, website hosting, professional advice, and IT security providers. They may act only for the relevant service and under applicable data-protection duties.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a genuine corporate transaction. If a provider processes data outside the UK, we use an available lawful transfer mechanism where required.
6. Retention and deletion
App data remains on your device until you reset it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. TEEN EDIT LTD cannot remotely view or delete that local data. Follow our data deletion guide.
Direct enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to answer you, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties. Routine support messages are normally reviewed for deletion after 24 months, unless there is a reason to keep them longer.
7. Your UK data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of personal information we hold, and to receive certain information in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis used.
These rights are not absolute. To make a request, email hi@teenedit.space. We may need information to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first. Visit ico.org.uk for complaint guidance.
8. Children
3-Minute Creative is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us directly, please contact us so we can respond appropriately.
9. Security
App data is protected by Android's application sandbox and is not transmitted by the app. For information sent directly to us, we use proportionate administrative and technical safeguards. No method of storage or communication can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our products, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date. If the app's data practices change materially, we will update this policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures before the changed version is published.
